As we all know, technology needs to be updated to function and be compatible with other systems. Our 20+ year old light board is slow, run down, and not responding as well as it used to! Eventually it will stop working all together. Learning how to use and program lighting design is part of the student's theater education. By purchasing a new light board, they do not have to worry about it crashing in the middle of a show or losing the designs they have worked so hard to create. With out it, we would not be able to run our performances.
